Install Apps to Kindle Fire without WiFi, Connecting to Computer or Using File Manager

If you want to install Apps to Kindle Fire without WiFi or SnapPea or using a 3rd party file manager, this article is for you.

Kindle store does not offer all apps. So sometimes you need to Install Apps to Kindle Fire from other sources. To install the app to your Kindle Fire or Kindle Fire HD without Wifi or File Manager program, Follow the steps below.

Download the (.apk) android app  from any App Market. Transfer the .apk file to the "Downloads" directory of your  Kindle. (Via USB, Ofcourse!!!).

The hard part is done. Next, from the "Apps" menu of your fire, open an app named "OfficeSuite". This app is preloaded to your Kindle Fire.

Now, from the left sidebar in OfficeSuite, go to "Internal ..." and from right sidebar go to "Downloads".

Next, touch "filter" and select "Show All Files".

You will see the apk you transfered via USB.

Touch it and click "Install".


From now on, you will be able to use that app or game from the "Apps" section.


Sometimes, for new users "Allow Installation of Application from Unknown sources" is turned off (By Default). You might get an error on the last step of installing. To turn it on, follow this... from notification drop-down select more+ > Device > Allow installation of application > Turn On. You should be able to install apps now.
